The lineup is set for the 2018 Allentown Halloween Parade! \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The parade will step-off from the Allentown Fairgrounds on Sunday, October 14 at 2:00pm.\u00a0 It will proceed on 17th<\/sup> Street to Hamilton Street and will conclude at Ninth Street.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s parade lineup is a diverse and exciting showcase of Allentown\u2019s Halloween spirit! This year\u2019s parade theme is \u201cStorybook Favorites,\u201d so prepare for a host of iconic characters from your favorite childhood books parading through the city! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With ten youth and adult performing bands, the 2018 Allentown Halloween Parade brings an abundance of musical entertainment. \u00a0The Allentown Hobo \u201cAlmost\u201d Marching Band and the Allentown All-City Band are back again in 2018 in addition to the Allentown School District high school and middle school bands.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Performance groups including Youth Education in the Arts, Small Steps Big Dreams, and Zumba Warriors are also sprinkled into the parade lineup. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

La Mega Radio\u2019s Victor \u201cVJ\u201d Martinez and Alfa Lopez will emcee this year\u2019s parade at the Judges\u2019 Reviewing Stand, located at 12th<\/sup> & Hamilton streets. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAllentown\u2019s Halloween Parade is a lot of fun for young and old alike,\u201d said Mayor Ray O\u2019Connell.\u00a0 \u201cIt is a great city tradition that is enjoyed by both participants and spectators.\u00a0 If you are a fan of marching bands and colorful characters, you won\u2019t want to miss it.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Parade spectators and participants are encouraged to use the Facebook and twitter tag \u201c#hallentownparade\u201d for the event.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The rain date for the parade is Sunday, October 21.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
