BETHLEHEM, PA\u2014R&B singer-songwriter Marc Broussard and \u201890s alt-rockers The Verve Pipe are coming to the ArtsQuest Center\u2019s Musikfest Caf\u00e9 presented by Yuengling. Tickets for the shows go on sale Oct. 16, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest members and Oct. 19, 10 a.m., to the public at\u00a0www.steelstacks.org<\/a> and 610-332-3378.<\/p>\n

On Jan. 18, 7:30 p.m., the Musikfest Caf\u00e9 welcomes The Verve Pipe<\/strong>. With a reputation for spectacular live performances, this multi-platinum alternative rock band is recognized worldwide for its number one smash single \u201cThe Freshmen\u201d and radio hits \u201cPhotograph,\u201d \u201cHero,\u201d \u201cHappiness Is\u201d and \u201cNever Let You Down.\u201d In 2014, The Verve Pipe released their first rock album in over 13 years with Overboard<\/em>, a collection of 10 new songs including \u201cCrash Landing,\u201d \u201cHit and Run\u201d and the haunting title track \u2018Overboard.\u201d This long incubating project brought a renewed energy and focus to this self-produced album that resulted in their most inspired writing and recording to date.<\/p>\n

The Verve Pipe continue to tour, performing both rock and kids shows throughout the U.S., including appearances at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Festival, Hangout Music Festival, SummerStage in Central Park and many more. Its latest album, \u201cParachute,\u201d includes fan favorites like \u201cI Can’t Get You Off of My Mind\u201d and \u201cWallflower.\u201d Tickets are $19-$24.<\/p>\n

On March 30, 7:30 p.m., singer-songwriter Marc Broussard<\/strong> brings his soulful stylings to the Musikfest Caf\u00e9. The son of Boogie Kings guitarist Ted Broussard, Broussard was seemingly destined for a life as a music man. His upbringing in Lafayette, La. instilled in him an affinity for R&B and at age 20, he released his first album. Having toured with Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Willie Nelson, O.A.R. and Bonnie Raitt, among others, Broussard has honed his writing chops through collaborations with some of the top songwriters in the business including LeAnn Rimes and Sara Bareilles. His latest work,\u00a0\u201cEasy to Love,\u201d features the hit single \u201cDon\u2019t Be Afraid to Call Me.\u201d Tickets are $25-$35.<\/p>\n
