Over the past few years, The Dustbowl Revival has been making a name for itself with a vibrant mix of vintage Americana sounds. Critics have proclaimed that this eclectic eight-piece “would have sounded utterly at home within the hallowed confines of Preservation Hall in New Orleans’ French Quarter” (Los Angeles Times) and their “upbeat, old-school, All-American sonic safaris exemplify everything shows should be: hot, spontaneous, engaging and, best of all, a pleasure to hear” (L.A. Weekly). Rob Sheffield, in Rolling Stone, hailed them as a great band “whose Americana swing was so fun I went back to see them again the next day.” The band, which formed in 2008, is touring behind its self-titled, fourth studio album which spent three weeks on Billboard charts, hit #1 on Amazon Americana-Alt-Country, #2 on Amazon Folk, and spent 16 weeks on the Americana radio chart peaking in the Top 20. Tickets for the concert are $15 in advance, $18 day of show.

Ana Popovic will rock the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling when she returns to SteelStacks Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m. Called “one helluva a guitar-player” by Bruce Springsteen and nominated for six Blues Music Awards, Popovic has appeared on the covers of Vintage Guitar and Guitar Player magazine. Her albums “Can You Stand The Heat” and “Unconditional” were USA Today Picks-Of-The-Week and featured on NPR Weekend Edition, which praised her “fiery technique on the Stratocaster”. She and her six-piece band have toured tirelessly, sharing stages with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa, among many others. Since her 2007 release, “Still Making History,” Popovic’s albums have consistently landed in the Top 5 of the Billboard Blues Charts. Now she’s back on the road promoting her new album, “Like It On Top,” which focuses on empowered, successful and inspiring female role models. Tickets for her show are $25-$29.

On March 21, 7:30 p.m., the Fowler Blast Furnace Room welcomes singer-songwriter Paul Thorn. With appearances on shows like Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel Live, as well as features with NPR and hits on Billboard’s Top 100 and Americana Radio Charts, Thorn has created an innovative and impressive career, pleasing crowds with his muscular brand of roots music – bluesy, rocking and thoroughly Southern American, yet also speaking universal truths. This year he released the album “Don’t Let the Devil Ride,” which Thorn describes as “the culmination of my whole life in music, coming back to my roots.” It marks his first time recording gospel music – featuring guests such as the Blind Boys of Alabama, the McCrary Sisters and Preservation Hall Horns – and his creation of a body of strikingly original songs that addresses the foibles of human relationships without necessarily favoring the sacred over the profane. Tickets for his show are $30 in advance, $35 day of show.

The ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks is located at 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.
