Tickets for the event are on sale now at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelstacks.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.steelstacks.org&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1541115466851000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEmHbssykXzPw9K25HvbcO61_CwPg\">www.steelstacks.org<\/a> and 610-332-3378. General admission tickets are $15 for the public ($20 regularly). VIP tickets, which include a vegan tote bag and early entrance to the event for the first chance to taste the macs and meet the chefs, are $24 ($29 regularly).<\/p>\n<p>From classic dishes like Roasted\u2019s baked mac and cheese with a bread crumb topping to kicked up favorites like Levy\u2019s \u201cEasy Cheesy Buffalo Cashew S\u2019mac and Cheesy,\u201d the Vegan s\u2019Mac Down will feature a variety of vegan \u201cmac and cheeze\u201d recipes from more than 10 restaurants throughout the region.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions take place inside the ArtsQuest Center\u2019s Musikfest Caf\u00e9 presented by Yuengling at 1-2:30 p.m. and 4-5:30 p.m., with VIP sessions at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. During the afternoon, attendees can taste all the delicious \u201cmac and cheeze\u201d presented by restaurants and caterers from throughout the region. After sampling each delectable dish, attendees will vote for their favorites. The s\u2019Mac Down Champion will be awarded a custom-blown trophy from the ArtsQuest Glass Studio at the Banana Factory.<\/p>\n<p>Restaurants and caterers confirmed so far are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Black &amp; Blue, Easton<br \/>\n\u2022 Clean Roots Vegetarian &amp; Vegan Cuisine, Quakertown<br \/>\n\u2022 Hot Plate Soul Kitchen, Bethlehem<br \/>\n\u2022 Levy Restaurants &amp; the ArtsQuest Center Culinary Team, Bethlehem<br \/>\n\u2022 NYTERA Vegan Cheese, Easton<br \/>\n\u2022 Om-Made Foods, Allentown<br \/>\n\u2022 Roasted with Vegout, Bethlehem<br \/>\n\u2022 Santoro\u2019s Franks &amp; Chili, Bethlehem<br \/>\n\u2022 The Flying Egg, Bethlehem<br \/>\n\u2022 The Hummus House, Allentown<br \/>\n\u2022 Vegan Treats, Bethlehem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event will also feature variety of vegan friendly vendors like Weyerbacher Brewing Company, Vegan Treats, No Whey Bakery, LV Kombucha and De Novo, as well as vegan cocktails.<\/p>\n<p>The Lehigh Valley Vegan s\u2019Mac Down is made possible thanks in part to Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations. Proceeds from the event will benefit Lehigh Valley Vegan and the ArtsQuest Arts Education Fund, which helps to provide quality arts and education programs for area students.
