The organization was formally designated an Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) provider by the city\u2019s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services\u2019 Evidence-Based Practice and Innovation Center (EPIC).\u00a0 EPIC says the designation recognizes KidsPeace\u2019s exemplary record of delivering services to children in need through Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) at its facility in Orefield, PA.\u00a0 KidsPeace is the first residential treatment program provider to receive the EBP designation for TF-CBT.<\/p>\n
Dominick DiSalvo, Senior Director of Clinical Services for KidsPeace\u2019s residential programs in Pennsylvania, noted that EPIC requires programs receiving EBP Program Designation to meet an exacting set of certification standards in implementing EBP programs.<\/p>\n
