\nPopular Holiday Marketplace Kicks Off 6-weekend Run Nov. 16-18<\/em><\/p>\n

BETHLEHEM, PA\u2014As Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem gets set to kicks off its 26th<\/sup> year, presenting sponsor Univest Bank and Trust Co. is helping to put everyone in the holiday spirit by offering free admission for children on opening weekend, Nov. 16-18. The offer is good for all kids ages 6-12 who are accompanied by a paying adult. Regular admission price for ages 6-12 is $6; ages 5 and under are always admitted free.<\/p>\n

Established in 1993, Christkindlmarkt presented by Univest is a one-of-a-kind holiday experience that brings the spirit of Bethlehem, the Christmas City, alive with the season. Twice recognized as one of the top holiday markets in the nation by Travel + Leisure<\/em>, this heart-warming holiday event features aisles of handmade works by more than 100 of the nation\u2019s finest artisans each weekend, as well as live Christmas music; an authentic German St. Nicholas; renowned German ornament designer K\u00e4the Wohlfarht, and European favorites like wursts and strudel.<\/p>\n

Among the enhancements this year are holiday-inspired creative family arts workshops, additional artisans\/vendors on several weekends and new holiday performances, such as The Swing Time Dolls performing their \u201cDolled Up Christmas\u201d show in vintage holiday-inspired costumes on Nov. 20 and Dec. 14.<\/p>\n
