The story of \u2018The Age of Heroes\u201d opens Thursday night and runs through Sunday, December 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">There was plenty of action fights underway, from masked characters to stick and hand fighting.\u00a0\u00a0 Super Hero masks and props were displayed, each available for a try-on to\u00a0 live the fantasy of being that special hero, even just for a brief moment.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">We joined up with David Kinne, unmasked from his character, Thor, who explained that the person who is able to remove the hammer from the rock must truly be worthy.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Cambria;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Also on display were about a half dozen masks and illustrations of the elaborate costumes of other characters in the show.\u00a0 The masks were cloth like, some had a rubber feel, but overall remained lightweight.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">Tyler Hubbard was also on hand to demonstrate his process of applying his make-up.\u00a0 And while he stated he puts the make-up on often enough that if he\u2019s in a hurry he can probably get it done within a couple of minutes.\u00a0 He prefers to take his time, he wants it to look exactly the same for each performance.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">It was a busy day for the performers.\u00a0 Earlier in the day they appeared at Roberto Clemente Charter School and spoke to 50 sixth grade students about the importance of staying healthy and keeping their bodies in super hero shape, and also the career opportunuties in this type of work.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">Come see the Super Heroes in action as they perform seven shows starting with Thursday at 7pm, Friday, November 30 at 7pm, Saturday, December 1, at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm, and Sunday, December 2 at 12pm and 4pm.\u00a0 Tickets for Marvel Universe Live start at $15.
