Students from the Landis Center ran a week-long food drive and collected both cash and food donations. LAF students, meanwhile, sold – and sold out – their traditional rivalry game t-shirts.

“We are so grateful to have organizations like Lafayette College support our mission,” says Tom Harper, ProJeCt’s director of development. “Our food pantry is one of the many ways that we provide relief and hope for people at risk in our community. Having these students come to the aid of people we’re proud to serve daily is simply wonderful.”

Since 1968, ProJeCt has helped people throughout the Lehigh Valley break free from the cycle of poverty. ProJeCt’s mission is to build a better community by helping people help themselves succeed in school, work and life through adult education, family literacy, school-based programming and emergency support services.

Information and image provided to TVL by:
Tom Harper
Director of Development
ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.
320 Ferry St., Easton, PA 18042
www.projecteaston.org

… Click here to read more...
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[69,482

post-84563","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-in-the-valley","category-press-release-2
