Those with direct experience in addiction and recovery are welcome to register.<\/p>\n<p>CRS, which begins Jan. 26, is designed to meet the\u00a0current educational requirements for the CRS credentials\u00a0as set forth by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recovery Management: 18 hours<\/li>\n<li>Education and Advocacy: 12 hours<\/li>\n<li>Professional Ethics and Responsibility: 6 hours<\/li>\n<li>Confidentiality: 6 hours<\/li>\n<li>Relevant to Field of Addiction: 12 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Topics include Foundations of Recovery, PBRSS\/CRS Role, Multiple Pathways, Message and Media, Co-Occurring Disorders, Process Addictions, Self-Disclosure, Ethics, Self-Care, Confidentiality, Science and Trauma, Documentation, Recovery Planning, Family Impact, Communication, CRS Exam Prep Session.\u00a0 The training costs $995, plus a separate fee of $125 for the CRS Application review and CRS Exam.<\/p>\n<p>Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays at the Lehigh valley campus, located at 2809 Saucon Valley Road in Center Valley.
