The 2018 KidsPeace Angel Tree campaign resulted in the donation of nearly 1,000 gifts.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

OREFIELD, PA (February 1, 2019)<\/strong> – KidsPeace announced that the 2018 version of its annual holiday \u201cAngel Tree\u201d gift campaign was the most successful to date, thanks to the generosity of its associates and donors in the Lehigh Valley community.<\/p>\n

KidsPeace associates and volunteers organized their distribution to children in the organization\u2019s hospital and residential treatment programs at the Orchard Hills Campus.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Angel Tree effort seeks to collect gifts for the children and young people who spend the holidays at KidsPeace Children\u2019s Hospital and residential treatment facility at the Orchard Hills Campus in Orefield, PA.\u00a0 Tags with information and gift suggestions are created for each child, and KidsPeace associates, their families and individuals in the community select the tags and seek to fulfill the wishes.<\/p>\n

The 2018 campaign resulted in the donation of nearly 1,000 gifts, along with a generous supply of hygiene products, gloves, hats, art supplies, wrapping paper and gift cards. Students from the Emerging Health Professionals program at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute spent two days on campus volunteering to wrap the gifts, and volunteers from BSI Corporate Benefits helped KidsPeace staff sort, organize and distribute the gifts to the children.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe at KidsPeace believe no child should ever feel like they are alone, and that\u2019s especially true around the holidays,\u201d said Ann McCauley, KidsPeace Vice President of Advancement. \u201cThe generosity of the sponsors, volunteers and donors to our best-ever Angel Tree campaign certainly made sure our kids know how much our community cares about them.\u201d<\/p>\n
