BETHLEHEM, PA March 4, 2019 – The Allentown Fire Department IAFF Local 302 is hosting a Dine and Donate Event on March 6th from 4 to 10 p.m. at The Shanty on 19th in Allentown. In addition to a portion of each bill being donated to The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV), there will be a 50\/50 raffle, a Chinese Auction and a t-shirt sale.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “We are so thankful to IAFF Local 302 for selecting PCFLV to be the beneficiary of this fundraising event,” said Michelle Zenie, Executive Director at PCFLV. “We are encouraging our supporters to go out on March 6th, enjoy a nice dinner and help support local kids with cancer.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n About PCFLV<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n PCFLV is a local non-profit focused on providing programs and services to local pediatric cancer patients and their families. PCFLV assists families during all phases of their cancer journey by providing financial and emotional assistance, along with opportunities to meet and talk with other families in similar situations. PCFLV’s programs include a scholarship program, a week-long day camp called Camp Smile, tickets to local sporting and entertainment events, gifts cards (for gas, groceries and hospital cafeterias), Mom’s Nights, Dad’s Nights and much more.
