Before being a credited vocalist for \u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d, Martel\u2019s YouTube videos went viral, leading to an appearance on \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d and a performance with the surviving members of Queen on \u201cAmerican Idol. In 2012, Martel was hand-selected by Brian May and Roger Taylor of the legendary band, Queen, to front their official tribute, The Queen Extravaganza.\u00a0 Queen drummer Roger Taylor remarked to the Daily Record<\/em>: \u201cThat voice. You listen, close your eyes and you think it\u2019s Freddie. It\u2019s really uncanny.\u201d\u00a0 Martel now currently performs with his own Queen tribute band, The Ultimate Queen Celebration.<\/p>\n Also performing at \u201cThe Really Big Show\u201d will be Matthew Schuler, a finalist on Season 5 of \u201cThe Voice\u201d, who will also emcee the event.\u00a0 Schuler had the fastest chair turn around in \u201cThe Voice\u201d history and his rendition of \u201cHallelujah reached #1 on the iTunes chart. Speaking about Schuler, his \u201cThe Voice\u201d coach Christina Aguilera, said, \u201cThere is something so magical and the room becomes silent and then you just lift it up, the applause.\u201d<\/p>\n Valley Youth House (VYH) will be selling sponsorships for this event, which include tickets to The Really Big Show<\/em> performances and entrance to the pre-show Cocktail Reception & After Party Desserts.\u00a0 If not sold-out, individual tickets will go on sale April 1, 2019. \u00a0The proceeds from \u201cThe Really Big Show\u201d will support the life-changing programs and services provided to youth and families served by Valley Youth House.<\/p>\n Valley Youth House started in 1973 as a shelter for homeless and runaway youth.\u00a0 Since then, it has grown into the largest provider of help and support to homeless youth and families in our region.\u00a0 Every year, over 31,000 young people receive counseling, emergency housing support, life skills training and family therapy to help them either reunite with their families or successfully transition to independent living.\u00a0 These young people need our help and this event will provide critically needed funds.<\/p>\n About Valley Youth House<\/strong> Information & Image Provided By: <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
