The line of motorcycles was led by \u201cSarge\u201d, President of the Nam Knights Chapter of the Lehigh Valley. Nam Knight\u2019s mission is to honor the memory of American Veterans and Police Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, to assist Veterans and Police Officers in their time of need and to promote community awareness through sponsorship and participation in various fundraising events. As part of their charity work, Meals on Wheels connects them with clients who have served.<\/p>\n<p>The Lehigh Valley Roller Derby Girls delivered meals to Moravian House in Bethlehem, skating through the hallways to deliver the meals. Created for the skaters by the skaters, the Lehigh Valley Rollergirls are dedicated to providing an opportunity for women athletes to achieve their maximum potential, both athletically and intellectually through the sport of roller derby.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on how you can volunteer or serve as a guest deliverer for a day, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mowglv.org\">www.mowglv.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>About Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley<br \/>\nMeals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley improves the health, well-being and independence of homebound seniors and adults with disabilities by providing nutritious, medically-tailored, home-delivered meals. The organization was created this past fall when two previous organizations merged: Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County and Meals on Wheels of Northampton County.
