BETHLEHEM, PA (May 3-4, 2019)–\u00a0 The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts presents its sixteenth-annual\u00a0dance\u00a0concert,\u00a0Dance\u00a0Quilt<\/i><\/b>, May 3 & 4, 2019, at the Charter Arts Theatre, located on the school’s campus at 321 East 3rd Street, Bethlehem. This formal concert of faculty and guest-choreographed work is a must-see\u00a0dance\u00a0event!<\/p>\n

This year’s concert will feature works choreographed by the school’s acclaimed faculty including Kimberly Maniscalco, Jennifer Weaver, Amy Berry, Rebecca Moyer, and Molly O’Reilly.\u00a0 A piece by guest choreographer, Randall Smith, a professor of dance from Muhlenberg College, will also be featured.\u00a0 Dance genres will include ballet, modern, folk, hip hop, and jazz.<\/p>\n

Concert Director, Kimberly Maniscalco, defines\u00a0Dance\u00a0Quilt<\/i><\/b>\u00a0as, \u201cAn eclectic and colorful performance of professional quality that beautifully highlights the varied talents of our students and faculty.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Dance\u00a0Quilt<\/i><\/b>\u00a0is the culminating event of a year-long rehearsal and performance course.<\/p>\n

Evening performances on May 3 & 4 at 7pm. Matinee performance on May 4 at 2pm.<\/p>\n
