ALLENTOWN RESCUE MISSION <\/b>needs volunteers to do or refer drywall contractor(s) who would donate time and materials to demo and repair 3 interior walls at their facility on Sunday, June 30 from 9am-5pm. Wall 1 is an old plaster lathe wall that needs to be demo’d and sheetrock put up. Walls 2 & 3 are in classroom\/clinic area where sheetrock is in poor repair due to water damage. Students generally assist in one of these areas: resident transport, activity assistants, and one-on-one visits. Hours Monday – Friday 9am-3pm with a commitment of at least one day a week required. They are currently in need of teams to visit residents at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown from 6:30-7:30pm on Thursdays and residents of Country Meadows, Allentown on Wednesdays from 6-6:45pm.
