Founded in 1882, KidsPeace is a private non-profit provider of mental and behavioral health services to children and adults.\u00a0 The organization operates a variety of programs ranging from in-patient hospitalization and residential treatment facilities to outpatient and community-based programs to foster care and other family support services.\u00a0 KidsPeace has offices in eight states and accepts residential treatment referrals from 33 states and the District of Columbia.\u00a0 In 2018 the organization served 9,865 clients and had revenue of $126 million.<\/p>\n
Mr. Slack joined KidsPeace in 2001 as director of business development, and has served in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in his tenure. Prior to his appointment as interim President\/CEO he was KidsPeace\u2019s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all KidsPeace behavioral and healthcare programming and operations. Mr. Slack holds a BS\/BA degree from the University of Delaware and a MBA in Health Care Administration from Temple University. He lives in Weisenberg Township, PA.<\/p>\n
