And indeed, our three distinguished award recipients have exponentially raised the quality of life for children throughout the Lehigh Valley. In addition, the evening will also include a nod to Sesame Street\u2019s 50th anniversary. Keptner, the director of the Multimedia Innovation Center at the Pennsylvania State University\u2019s Lehigh Valley Campus, also lectures in communications there. The seasoned reporter has interviewed newsmakers and personalities that include President Barack Obama, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chef Emeril Lagasse. Her Pittsburgh upbringing put her in close proximity to PBS\u2019s very own Fred Rogers, one of her own personal heroes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: #ffffff; color: #222222; font-family: 'Open Sans','Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;\">Though he is most often associated with Jaindl Turkey Sales, Jaindl Land Company, Jaindl Realty, Jaindl Beverage (A-Treat), Schantz Orchards, and The Hitter\u2019s Edge, child by child, David Jaindl has added to the Lehigh Valley\u2019s quality of life by donating land for elementary schools and ball fields. And let\u2019s not forget that Big Bird\u2019s very first feathers came from Jaindl turkeys! Block by block, Jennings has fought for decades to make the Lehigh Valley a better place for our neighbors who struggle most.
