\u2018Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting\u2019 will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 15 at the Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem, PA.<\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA. – August 6, 2019<\/strong> – On Sunday, September 15, 2019 PBS39 will hold a celebration in honor of Sesame Street\u2019s 50th Anniversary. This free event will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem, PA.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are honored to bring the spirit of this iconic public media program to the Lehigh Valley,\u201d Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer at PBS39 said. \u201cSesame Street has educated generations of families and this celebration will engage people of all ages.\u201d<\/p>\n

Attendees will have the chance to meet and take a photo with Sesame Street walkaround characters Grover and Count von Count. The celebration will also feature a number of family-friendly activities including educational tables hosted by the National Museum of Industrial History<\/a>, the Da Vinci Science Center<\/a> and Wildlands Conservancy<\/a>. There will also be a live concert with Lehigh Valley musical artist Kira Willey.<\/p>\n

This event is open to the public, but capacity is limited. To meet a Sesame Street walkaround character, families should register for a time slot on PBS39.org\/Sesame<\/a>. Each family will need only one pass, but the number of children and adults should be noted while registering online. Attendees should bring their printed or mobile ticket to the event.<\/p>\n
