August 2019<\/strong> – At the beginning of each school year, three outstanding teachers are recognized and receive the BEST Award at Convocation.\u00a0The BASD marked history today as we started a new tradition to highlight a support staff member and present them with the title of BASD Employee of the Month.<\/p>\n

Dr. Joseph Roy, Superintendent of Schools, surprised Margaret \u201cPeggy\u201d McKinnon with the honor of being named the Bethlehem Area School District Employee of the Month for August 2019.<\/p>\n

Peggy McKinnon works in the Information Services Department as an Information Systems Specialist. She has been employed with the district for 13 years.<\/p>\n

Dr. Roy stated: \u201cPeggy is highly skilled, dedicated, and respected by everyone. She is a wonderful representative of BASD\u2019s talented and committed support staff who, behind the scenes, help make the district run for the benefit of our students.\u201d<\/p>\n

We wish many thanks to Peggy for her continued service to the district. Congratulations Peggy.<\/p>\n
