The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation is offering dog owners and their pets an opportunity to swim in a city pool.\u00a0 The city\u2019s 14th<\/sup> Annual Doggie Dip dates for the 2019 season are:<\/p>\n

Mack Pool\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Saturday, August 17 12:00pm-7:00pm<\/p>\n

Jordan Pool\u00a0\u00a0 Saturday, August 24 12:00pm-7:00 pm<\/p>\n

Cost per dog is $4.00 for City of Allentown residents and $8.00 for Non-Residents. Proof of Residency is required to receive the Resident Rate.<\/p>\n

All dogs must have a valid 2019 license and be up to date on all vaccinations. One handler in the pool per dog is recommended and any aggressive animals will be asked to exit the event. Monetary donations can be made to Friends of the Allentown Parks.\u00a0 Dry pet food donations on behalf of the Lehigh County Humane Society will be accepted and appreciated.<\/p>\n
