Bethlehem, PA. – September 3, 2019<\/strong> – Meet PBS character Arthur at the Reading Public Museum on Saturday, September 28, 2019. PBS39 is partnering with the Reading Public Museum to celebrate the kickoff of Arthur’s World, the national touring exhibition based on the PBS children’s television series.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cArthur has been a beloved educational program for years,\u201d Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer of PBS39 said. \u201cWe are excited to give families an opportunity to interact with a character they watch on television every single day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of PBS39 and the Reading Public Museum will have exclusive access to explore the museum and take photos with the walkaround mascot Arthur from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Arthur will be available to the public between 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. PBS39’s mascot TeleBear will also be available for photos. Crafts and family-friendly activities will take place in the galleries throughout the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arthur’s World<\/a> runs September 27, 2019 through January 5, 2020. The exhibit and tour were created by the Boston Children\u2019s Museum, in collaboration with Marc Brown, the author of the iconic children\u2019s books, and WGBH-TV, the Boston PBS station that produces the television show.<\/span>
