$500 cash prize to be awarded to top film; filmmakers can submit entries through Jan. 17<\/i>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

BETHLEHEM, PA\u2014From ambitious high school auteurs to experienced film professionals, local and regional aspiring filmmakers interested in unveiling their expertise behind the lens are invited to submit their\u00a0top\u00a0films\u00a0for the 2020 Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival now through Jan. 17, 2020,\u00a0for a chance to win a grand prize of $500. The festival returns Feb. 29, 2020, to the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at the ArtsQuest Center at\u00a0SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The GLVFF is open to new and seasoned filmmakers from the Lehigh Valley, eastern Pennsylvania and central and western New Jersey. Entries can be submitted at\u00a0www.steelstacks.org\/film<\/a>. Submission fee is $10 per film through Dec. 20, and $20 per film through Jan. 17; high school and college student submission fee is $10. Entries can be up to 30 minutes long and must have been filmed after Jan. 1, 2017. Copyrighted music is prohibited unless filmmaker has proper documentation.<\/p>\n

During the GLVFF, the\u00a0ArtsQuest\u00a0Cinema Committee will present one winner with the Best in Show Award and a $500 cash prize. The award will be determined by a jurying panel of committee members and regional film professionals. A celebration for filmmakers and cinephiles alike, the evening includes screenings of all the top submissions in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas and more.<\/p>\n

The completed 2020 festival lineup will be announced after the\u00a0New\u00a0Year.<\/p>\n
