Bethlehem, PA. – September 30, 2019<\/strong> – The new PBS39 original program Counter Culture<\/strong><\/a>, hosted by Grover Silcox, won a Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy\u00ae award in the category of interview\/discussion series at the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy\u00ae Awards. More than 600 regional television industry professionals attended this ceremony, held at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown on Saturday, September 28. At this ceremony, PBS39\u2019s Grover Silcox<\/strong> was also inducted into the prestigious Silver Circle Society<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI am extremely proud of our team at PBS39 for the work that they do everyday to create informative and entertaining content,\u201d Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer of PBS39 said. \u201cIt is an honor to be recognized by our peers and receive this esteemed award during the first year of a new show. I am excited to see what the future holds for our organization.\u201d<\/p>\n Counter Culture<\/strong><\/a>, a weekly talk show set at the counter of Daddypops Diner in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, welcomes artists, authors, comics, singers, historians and others to talk about their passions. Along with Silcox, team members recognized for this achievement include Jeffrey Frederick<\/strong>, Zach Wisneskie<\/strong>, Anastasia Weckerly<\/strong>, Jessica Lee<\/strong>, Daniel Ray<\/strong>, Andrea Cummis<\/strong>, Javier Diaz<\/strong> and Yoni Greenbaum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The evening of recognition continued for Silcox as the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences inducted him, and seven other television professionals, into the Silver Circle Society. This honor society recognizes significant contributions by individuals in the broadcast industry for 25 years or more.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are so fortunate to have Grover\u2019s talent and experience on our team,\u201d Yoni Greenbaum, Chief Content Officer at PBS39 said. \u201cHe has been sharing his gifts with viewers in our region for more than two decades.
