Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh\/Berks) is inviting area senior citizens and their caregivers to his annual Senior Expo on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Senior Expo is always a fun day with lots of great information shared with all the attendees,\u201d said Mackenzie. \u201cI encourage all area seniors to come out and join us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dozens of exhibitors from local, state, and federal agencies along with a variety of senior-focused organizations will be on hand to offer information about programs and services designed to meet the needs of older Pennsylvanians. In addition, there will also be a number of free health screenings, a light lunch will be served, and door prizes will be awarded. The door prize drawing will be held at 12:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
