{"id":95963,"date":"2019-10-11T23:24:09","date_gmt":"2019-10-12T03:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=95963"},"modified":"2021-06-03T21:54:53","modified_gmt":"2021-06-04T01:54:53","slug":"mindful-outdoor-experience-at-louise-moore-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=95963","title":{"rendered":"Mindful Outdoor Experience at Louise Moore Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Join Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guides Trish Tiernan and Chuck Thomas and Northampton County Parks Recreation Specialist Jim Wilson will lead a nature-based experience at Louise Moore Park from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Saturday, October 19.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Trish and Chuck will lead the two-hour-long program combining forest bathing, Ayurveda and meditation along trails in the meadows and woodlands at the park, including Matson\u2019s Woods\u2014a seven-acre stand of enormous oak trees. Jim will provide some history of the park and point out current and planned conservation projects during this guided walkabout. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This program is sponsored by Northampton County Division of Parks &amp; Recreation and is open to the public free-of-charge. However, registration is required.
