Bethlehem, PA. – November 6, 2019 <\/strong>– Lehigh Valley Public Media aired live election night coverage on Tuesday, November 5 on multiple platforms, including the newly-launched NPR station, WLVR<\/a>. The live radio broadcast augmented Decision 2019: A Special Presentation from PBS39 News Tonight<\/i> and featured reporting from the PBS39 Reporter Corps<\/u><\/a>\u00ae, and commentary from Christine Dempsey, Senior Vice President of Radio; Jen Rehill, Radio News Director; Jonas Bowen, Director of Radio Operations; and reporter and anchor, Brad Klein.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery election is a significant election,\u201d Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer of Lehigh Valley Public Media said. \u201cThis year, we were able to communicate the importance of civic engagement through our new radio platform. I\u2019m so proud of our entire team for producing a successful evening of live, multi-platform reporting.\u201d<\/p>\n WLVR\u2019s election coverage marks the first live radio news broadcast for the station. In addition to the radio coverage, PBS39 News Tonight provided television audiences with reports throughout the night. Thanks to a partnership with Adams Outdoor Advertising<\/u><\/a>, live news updates and results were visible on 30 digital billboards across the Greater Lehigh Valley.
