Platinum-Selling Jazz Rockers Squirrel Nut Zippers (SNZ) are embarking on their third annual Holiday Caravan Tour this December and will be hitting MusicFest Cafe Dec. 8<\/p>\n
Zipsters!\u00a0 The Squirrel Nut Zippers Holiday Caravan tour will return for the third consecutive year this December and is hitting MusicFest Cafe on December 8.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have our third annual holiday tour coming up later this year,\u201d band leader Jimbo Mathus said.\u00a0 \u201cThese shows are always so fun and special.\u00a0 We\u2019ll be playing selections from our Christmas Caravan album, holiday hits and of course the finest new and old Squirrel Nut Zippers music for you all.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Squirrel Nut Zippers most recent studio album titled Beasts Of Burgundy was released in 2018.\u00a0 The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard Jazz Albums Chart upon its release.\u00a0 It was back in 1998 when the Squirrel Nut Zippers released their first and only Holiday album titled Christmas Caravan which went on to sell a quarter of a million copies and reached #12 on the Billboard Holiday Albums chart.<\/p>\n
Since reactivating in mid-2016 the Squirrel Nut Zippers have been performing to packed houses across the country and around the world.\u00a0 As Jimbo Mathus has said since the band\u2019s re-launch, \u2018it\u2019s not a reunion, it\u2019s a revival.\u2019<\/p>\n
