Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) and ArtsQuest partnership to feature local musicians<\/strong><\/p>\n (Hanover Township, PA)<\/strong> \u2013 Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) and ArtsQuest have announced a partnership to launch Music in the Airport<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 which features local musicians performing live<\/em><\/strong> in the Wilfred M. \u201cWiley\u201d Post Departure Concourse following the TSA checkpoint for passengers awaiting their flight.<\/p>\n \u201cFlying can be an unnerving experience. What better way to relax then hearing very talented local singers. Passengers will enjoy a comfortable travel environment while also getting a free concert in the process,\u201d said, Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).<\/p>\n \u201cAirports are getting more and more creative in becoming a venue of opportunity for a variety of things. Specifically, here at ABE you have gate takeovers by the Phantoms and Iron Pigs, so why wouldn\u2019t you have SteelStacks and entertainment center stage,\u201d said Curt Mosel, Chief Operating Officer, ArtsQuest.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, November 26th<\/sup><\/strong>, Kendal Conrad<\/strong> \u2013 a local country singer and songwriter (Montgomery County, PA) \u2013 is scheduled to perform from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Kendall will rejoin passengers for performances on December 2nd<\/sup>, 16th<\/sup>, and 18th<\/sup>.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n *Music in the Airport is located beyond the TSA checkpoint and is limited to passengers flying through ABE.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve flown through this airport multiple times enroute to Nashville, and performed in the terminal areas during special events.
