Lehigh Valley Public Media, home of PBS39-WLVT was awarded $87,500 of this grant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to receive this generous grant from Independence Public Media,\u201d Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer of Lehigh Valley Public Media said. \u201cWe look forward to utilizing this grant to improve our community-centered programming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This one-year planning grant will allow PBS39-WLVT to explore launching a channel that is robust, local and community-centered, through implementing a survey and analysis of content creators in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this round of grants, we are exploring the boundaries of creative media making, including media making for movement building, and community-led storytelling to bring new information and narratives to light,\u201d said the foundation\u2019s president Molly de Aguiar.
