Let\u2019s Play Books Bookstore, in partnership with the Bethlehem Area Public Library, is proud to present the Inaugural Lehigh Valley Book Festival<\/strong>, to be held the last weekend in March 2020. Join us as we celebrate books – their authors, illustrators, and readers! The festival will host creative and informative programs, including activities for all ages in and around the Lehigh Valley. The Lehigh Valley Book Festival will be an annual event.<\/p>\n The main event will take place on Saturday, 3\/28, at the Bethlehem Area Public Library. From 10am to 4pm, there will be author and illustrator talks & panel discussions, as well as educational programs.\u00a0 Families will enjoy concurrent programing of Kids\u2019 Fest (10am-1pm) and Teens\u2019 Fest (2-4pm). Best-selling author Gregg Hurwitz, Into the Fire: An Orphan X Novel<\/em> (Minotaur Books, 1\/28\/20, $27.99) will lead the Keynote Session, an author-packed panel discussion about the role of storytelling in today\u2019s society.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Lehigh Valley Book Festival has been in the works for over 5 years. It was important to build the community connections required to pull off such a large-scale, collaborative event. Partnering with the Bethlehem Area Public Library, working with director Josh Berk, has made this event possible.\u201d said Kirsten Hess, owner of Let\u2019s Play Books Bookstore in Emmaus.
