Over the past nine years, more than 1,200 images of local servicemen and women from all branches of the military have been on display to honor our hometown heroes.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions for \u2018Our Hometown Heroes\u2019 are being accepted at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelstacks.org\/memorial-day\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.steelstacks.org\/memorial-day&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1583074760761000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFD3WhqjMXn2tImKKvZsM1t3DEb8w\"> www.steelstacks.org\/memorial-day<\/a> through April 1. Photos should be high-resolution images in one of the following file formats: jpeg, tiff, bitmap or PDF file. Color and black &amp; white photographs may also be dropped off at any Lehigh Valley Embassy Bank branch; all print photos will be returned and may be picked up at the Banana Factory, 25 W. Third St., Bethlehem, May 1-14.<\/p>\n<p>Each submitted photo will be displayed on one of the \u2018Our Hometown Heroes\u2019 banners on the SteelStacks campus and include the soldier\u2019s rank, branch, dates of service and hometown. All images submitted in previous years will automatically be displayed as part of the \u2018Our Hometown Heroes\u2019 display. As part of the 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary display of Our Hometown Heroes, Embassy Bank and ArtsQuest are also inviting veterans who are featured on the banners and their family members to attend \u201cA Time to Remember\u201d Memorial Day event May 25, 5 p.m., at SteelStacks. During the event, ArtsQuest and Embassy Bank will recognize all the veterans in attendance and a group photo will be taken after the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe started \u2018Our Hometown Heroes\u2019 in 2011 to honor the many men and women who have dedicated themselves to protecting and serving the United States,\u201d says Embassy Bank CEO, President and Chairman Dave Lobach Jr. \u201cNearly a decade later, it is amazing to think we have more than 1,200 photos on servicemen and women on these banners that line the SteelStacks campus. We are excited to honor these members of the Armed Forces during our special Memorial Day event this year \u2013 it\u2019s one small way we can remember everyone who dedicated themselves to keeping our great nation safe and free.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Memorial Day Celebration presented by Embassy Bank includes three days of music, family activities and programming designed to honor all past and current members of the military.
