#EatEthnicLV

The Business and Diversity Councils of The Chamber present the Ethnic Food Takeover Initiative  to promote ethnic restaurants with takeout and delivery service to combat the economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Ethnic Food Takeover will take place

April 17-19, 2020.

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Business and the Diversity Councils of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, has created an initiative to help Ethnic-owned restaurants market their availability for takeout and delivery services called Ethnic Food Takeover Initiative, to be held April 17-19. The open call for restaurants to sign up starts now via the Business and Diversity Councils’ webpage: https://www.lehighvalleychamber.org/business–diversity-councils.html

The Ethnic Food Takeover Initiative will focus on small businesses owned and operated by entrepreneurs that serve ethnic food. There are no fees to participate and restaurants don’t have to be members of The Chamber. The goal of the initiative is to help bring awareness of the diverse array of ethnic food establishments in the Lehigh Valley and to keep them afloat during the economic downturn of the COVID-19 crisis. Restaurants have been required to keep their dining rooms closed and limit their operations to takeout, curbside and delivery.

“Not only will this initiative highlight our diverse ethnic food all throughout the Lehigh Valley, it will give a desperately needed economic boost to the small restaurants in our community,” said Danielle Joseph, Executive Vice President, Diversity Councils of The Chamber.  “We have to do all that we can to help our community now when they need us the most – each dollar makes a difference.”

Foodies from across the Lehigh Valley can order take out or delivery from Ethnic-Owned eateries:  https://www.lehighvalleychamber.org/list-of-ethnic-restaurants.html

Restaurants that would like to sign up can do so at:  https://www.lehighvalleychamber.org/submit-your-restaurant.html
