Neffs, Pa- The Neffs National Bank, is proud to present $100,000 in donations to six local educational foundations. These donations will help fund essential educational programs to benefit the youth of our local community. The selected foundations include Northern Lehigh School District Education Foundation, Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation, Inc., Parkland School District Education Foundation, Wildlands Conservancy, Inc., Wildlife Information Center, Inc., and Circle of Seasons Foundation, Inc.
Donations were made through The Neffs National Bank’s participation in the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program authorizes tax credits for contributions to Educational Improvement Organizations and allows the bank to earmark their taxes to support these programs.
Since the bank began their participation in the EITC program, they have contributed over $1,100,000 to various educational foundations. Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO The Neffs National Bank noted “these organizations are continuing to face uncertain times with increased budget constraints and the
need to reengineer their education programs. I would encourage local businesses to support these
organizations either directly or through participation in the EITC program.”

Wildlife Info Center, Inc.- Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO The Neffs National Bank and David Matulevich, Executive Vice President/COO/CFO present a check for $20,000 to Chad Schwartz, Executive Director of Lehigh Gap Nature Center / Wildlife Information Center, Inc.
Wildlands Conservancy- Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO The Neffs National Bank and David Matulevich, Executive Vice President/COO/CFO present a check for $20,000 to Wildlands Conservancy. Jackie Jones, Director of Development and Elizabeth Dugan, VP of Development and Communications accepted the check on the foundation’s behalf.
Parkland School District Education Foundation- Kevin Schmidt, President/CEO The Neffs National Bank presents a check for $25,000 Parkland School District Education Foundation. Lisa Ervin, Executive Director and John Pfeiffer, Parkland School District, accepted the check on the foundation’s behalf.
