Daniel Roebuck’s New Film, SAINT NICK OF BETHLEHEM Filmed in Bethlehem, PA

November 16, 2023

The Historic Hotel Bethlehem.

Dear Santa,

Tonight was a beautiful night in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Iconic Actor, Producer, and Director, Daniel Roebuck posted a video on social media asking Lehigh Valley residents and visitors to show up, and be a part of his new film he’s filming in Bethlehem, PA. Daniel Roebuck was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA, and he spends quite a lot of time in the Lehigh Valley. He shows a lot of love and support to his hometown. Daniel Roebuck has an impressive film career. He has been in over 100 films and television shows. He’s been in everything from U.S. Marshals, Final Destination (Written by THE IMMENSILY TALENTED Jeffrey Reddick, Glen Morgan, and James Wong. Final Destination gave us all the various fears and warnings in life. Jeffrey Reddick is reminded constantly on social media. We THANK YOU for such a great film, and Devon Sawa & Tony Todd-He still deserves a Final Destination based around his character.)

But if you saw The Munsters, My Brothers’ Crossing, 3 From Hell, 9-1-1, Rosewood. I could go on an on. The man is endlessly talented. He makes acting seem effortless. Tonight, he brought the Lehigh Valley together again as thousands gathered outside the ICONIC, Historic Hotel Bethlehem located at 437 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. It’s stunning. My dear friend Paula Gallo who is warm, loving, funny, a talented artist, and genuine to the soul and beyond sent me a message, and said, “let’s go.” I’m always up for an adventure, and it was indeed an adventure.

Paula and I were originally heading over to SteelStacks ( https://www.steelstacks.org/ ) to watch the Improv show. Don’t worry, I will include all the links including Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem in Christmas City. (Bethlehem, PA.)

Daniel Roebuck was filming, Saint Nick of Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA. (Synopsis: Original story about a man who lost his son, became Santa to many, reunites with his love, and brings hope to all. Distraught over losing his son, Nick, finds closure and discovers a new purpose when he takes on the role of Santa Claus.”) It’s being directed by Spencer Folmar, and Daniel Roebuck. It was written by Spencer and Daniel. It stars Daniel Roebuck, Cathy Moriarity whom I met at a red-carpet event for my amazing friend and actress, producer, writer, Deborah Twiss. It also stars Marsha Dietlein, Duane Whitaker, Stelio Savante (WHO IS BEYOND INCREDIBLE), Timothy E. Goodwin, Elias Kemuel, Bradford Haynes, Kathy Patterson, and Jennifer Porrata.

Cinematography by Andre Welsh, Casting Beth Clausnitzer (Beth was rocking it, she was doing an amazing job keeping everything going smoothly.) I also spotted Tony Martinez who is an amazing photographer and works video production. He is BEYOND talented. I even ran into a few of my Horror family members who attend the same conventions I do, and someone I filmed a commercial with.

The Historic Hotel Bethlehem is stunning. Paula and I were able to take a few moments and go inside. They have everything decorated beautifully with Christmas trees, toy soldiers, a beautiful manger.

Also, if you are looking for something to do, I met a group of students who arrived later because they were working on the musical, “The Mad Ones” at Moravian University, at The Arena Theatre. ( https://www.moravian.edu/theatre/venue-information ) “The Mad Ones” is playing from November 16-19, 2023.

We also met some amazing Tour Guides in Bethlehem. As the star of Bethlehem lit up the night sky, the crowd was so excited to be part of this iconic moment happening in front of The Historic Bethlehem Hotel. It was a beautiful setting, and Daniel Roebuck, and his entire crew did such a great job keeping people safe, managing traffic. Several people stopped and asked, “what’s going on tonight?” Some people found last minute parking to join in on the festivities. Daniel Roebuck certainly brought all of the cheer and festiveness, I think Santa Claus and Mariah Carey are both smiling. It was such a fun night. It was so beautiful to see so many people from all walks of life gather together and some of us were even singing Christmas songs.

It started to get a little colder as the night went on but that did not deter anyone. They kept the spirit of being together going strong. That is what makes the Lehigh Valley what it is, the resilience, the ability to get through anything. The Bethlehem Police did an awesome job, and Moravian’s Police/Security kept everyone safe while they shot the scenes for the film. Daniel Roebuck delivered and made some of our hearts, “grow three sizes” or more. It was a beautiful night.
