A new website has started in the Lehigh Valley with the sole purpose of highlighting the best of what the Lehigh Valley has to offer. This site is all about the Lehigh Valley area and only the Lehigh Valley. To many “local” media outlets claim to be “hyper local” yet there headlines are from out of the region, and there advertisers are giant national brands. The Valley Ledger wants to put the focus on only the Lehigh Valley!
We look to accomplish this by having valley residents compete in photo and writing contest with different themes that will give them a chance to display what they think is the best in the area. Contestants will submit entries by a stated deadline and then will have to promote their entry on social media and word of mouth to get the most votes to win. In other words, the Lehigh Valley will be promoting the Lehigh Valley.
As a local business, this is a great opportunity to connect with your customers. It is also a great way to let new customers find you. All too often people get in the habit of only knowing what business are along their regular routes of travel. This is a prime opportunity to let them know you are nearby.
How can you get involved? We have ample space to advertise on the side of contest galleries, posts on the website, redistributing your messages on our active social media feeds, and by sponsoring contests. When you sponsor a contest, we will tailor the theme to fit your industry.
Another easy way to get involved is to submit a free article providing tips from your profession. Help potential customers by providing insights and let them know what your company has to offer them as well.
