Earth Day weekend is a time to cherish Allentown’s wonderful public parks and playgrounds and engage the local community in activities to protect and beautify these parks. Friends of the Allentown Parks is working with approximately 2,500 volunteers in litter collection, painting, invasive plant removal and other activities from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m. in the following parks. All parks will be open as usual.
