Dates– September 9th, 16th and 17th, Tentative date- September 18th 2017.
Project- In Your Arms represents a visual display of the growing heroin epidemic in our communities. The video will focus on a main character- female- preferably between 20-30 years. The lead will display the changes of a heroin addict coming from a middle class background, in which the drugs taken over and show her transforming and hanging around the wrong crowd to ” score” her drugs. In addition to the family emotional journey dealing with the female lead addiction and suffers through the process.
Casting:
Female Lead – 20- 30 yrs, Caucasian female
Parents: Mother/ Father – 40- 50 yrs, Caucasian
Drug Dealers- Male 20-30 yrs, (Varies Background)
Aunt- 40- 50 yrs- Caucasian
Young Child 2-3yrs- ( This role is based on lead female raising a mixed raced child- ( African- American or Latino decent- will consider varies background)
25- 30 Extras for club scenes- females/ males- 18 yrs and older
Roles are non-paid/ non-union ——Food will be provided on shoot days.
Auditions will be held- August 19th 2017 from 1pm-3pm @ Dave Phillips Music Store-
