Lehigh County Seeking Community Input on Five-Year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program

(Allentown, PA)- Lehigh County is currently preparing its Five-Year Consolidated Plan 2019-2023 and its 2019 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

In order to make the planning process as reflective of community interests and ideas as possible, Lehigh County is conducting a brief survey.  This survey will help the county optimize how CBDG funds are dispersed.

The survey can be taken by clicking on the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2019Lehigh

The survey is only a few minutes and is completely confidential.  The county encourages all residents to take part in this crucial phase of planning.

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is a flexible program that provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs. Beginning in 1974, the CDBG program is one of the longest continuously run programs according the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
