The Linnys are presented by the ArtsQuest Foundation, established to strengthen the long-term sustainability of ArtsQuest, the nonprofit that presents Musikfest and more than 4,000 other programs, events and educational classes annually.  The awards are named after the late Marlene ‘Linny’ Fowler of Bethlehem, who worked tirelessly to elevate the arts in the Lehigh Valley through her volunteerism and support. In addition to honoring Fowler’s legacy, the awards celebrate the extraordinary artists, arts educators, businesses and philanthropists who live and work in the Greater Lehigh Valley. All proceeds from the 2019 Linnys will go to support the nonprofit foundation, established in 2002 by Fowler.

ArtsQuest is honored to announce a new $1,000 scholarship funded by a $25,000 contribution from friends of the late John DiFrancesca. It will be presented each year during the Linny Awards to a student in the ArtSmart program who is interested in attending summer art camps or advanced art classes at the Banana Factory Arts Center. Also new this year, guests can create their own Linny inspired bracelet or pin and have a chance to win one of three fabulous prizes. Cost is one bead for $10, three beads for $25 and eight beads for $50. Prizes include a Musikfest 2020 main stage ticket package and more.
