AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, Lehigh Valley is looking for “Road to Recovery” volunteer drivers (18-84 years) for driving ambulatory patients to their cancer-related medical appointments during the week days between 7am-5pm. Schedules are flexible; drivers must have good driving record, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle or use an ACS owned vehicle, background check, valid driver’s license, computer/laptop and must take online training. ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers to help welcome in the New Year at PeepsFest on December 30-31. This is a family-friendly way to usher in the new year. Help with crafts/games on the second floor of the ArtsQuest Center, ticket scanning on the Third Floor Disco Lounge, be a s’mores seller with a front row seat to view the large light-up Peep or bring cheer throughout the town as a course marshal for the PeepsFest 5K. CEDARBROOK SENIOR CARE & REHAB, Allentown is looking for a Pianist to play hymns during our Devotions service each Friday morning, 10:00-11:00am to help our residents rejoice in song during this service. We are also looking for a Choir Director on Sundays 2:00-3:00pm, and for practice once a week, usually on Thursday 1:45-2:45pm (can be changed). LEHIGH COUNTY COURT-APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES, Allentown is seeking dedicated volunteers to be court appointed advocates for children in foster care due to abuse, neglect and/or trauma. These volunteers will be the “eyes and ears” of the Judge and advocate for the best interests of the child in court, visit the child at home/placement, monitor how the child is doing in school, observe parental visitations, and be in regular contact with the child. MEALS ON WHEELS OF THE GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY needs drivers and visitors in both Lehigh and Northampton Counties. In Lehigh mostly Allentown and Whitehall routes are available, while in Northampton mostly Easton openings with some Bethlehem routes as well.  Volunteers can help on a regular or substitute basis – we need both! ST. LUKE’S UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK, Bethlehem, Monroe, Quakertown, and Warren Campuses need Volunteer Escorts, Patient Advocates, and Hospice Volunteers Monday-Friday from 8am-12pm or 12-4pm. SHARECARE FAITH IN ACTION, Bethlehem provides free volunteer services to elderly/disabled persons such as transportation, shopping, visitations, and therapy dog visits.
