Kelly Earnshaw joins the organization as program manager in Berks County.

Allentown, PA (January 5, 2022)– Communities in Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania (CISEasternPA), an agency that removes the nonacademic barriers that keep students from achieving academically and in life, recently hired Kelly Earnshaw as program manager.

In her role, Earnshaw provides resources for and supports CISEasternPA sites in Berks County and East Penn School District. She is responsible for maintaining and strengthening positive relationships with school leadership, ensuring sites meet accreditation standards, and serves as the first point of contact between site coordinators and administration. Earnshaw aims to foster a sense of community and volunteerism among Communities In Schools of Eastern PA personnel and the students they serve.

“Kelly is coming to Communities In Schools of Eastern PA with a great deal of youth programming and development management experience. Her strong interest in trauma and its effects, equity and inclusion, and health and wellness will greatly impact our organization’s programs in Berks County and East Penn School District,” said Migdalia Garcia, Associate Director of Operations.

Northern Berks County is composed of rural communities, which increases challenges to resources and makes CISEasternPA a vital asset to districts in the area. Earnshaw’s position enables her to observe the differences between regions and help connect students and families to the resources they need to overcome roadblocks to academic and personal success.
