ARTSQUEST ANNOUNCES ELECTED BOARD OFFICERS FOR 2023

Board Chairs, Vice Chairs and Officers are elected and reappointed for 2023

BETHLEHEM, Pa.— ArtsQuest is pleased to announce new and returning officers to its Board of Trustees, the ArtsQuest Foundation Board of Trustees, ArtsQuest Performing and Visual Arts Boards and the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks Board of Directors for 2023. As a nonprofit organization, ArtsQuest is led by volunteers who serve in a variety of capacities on the Boards and Committees that support the organization’s mission.

ArtsQuest Board of Trustees

This Board is responsible for the overall governance of the organization.

Orville Trout has been elected for his first one-year term as Chair of the ArtsQuest Board of Trustees. Trout, Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Administration at Crayola, has been a member of ArtsQuest’s volunteer leadership for the past four years, serving as a member of the Board of Trustees since 2019. Trout was appointed Vice Chair of the Trustees and Chair of the Governance Committee in 2022 and has served on the ArtsQuest Human Resources Committee since 2020.

Additional elected ArtsQuest Board of Trustees Officers include:

  • Vice Chair: Joseph P. Bergstein, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PPL Corporation
  • Secretary: Robert Begliomini, RPh, PharmD, MBA, FASHP, Senior Vice President, Lehigh Valley Health Network and President, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg
  • Treasurer: Michael Vinci, Vice President of Finance, Wind Creek Bethlehem

In addition, Ryan Dunn, Partner, Dunn Twiggar Co. LLC has been elected to serve on ArtsQuest Board of Trustees.

ArtsQuest Foundation Board of Trustees

The ArtsQuest Foundation is responsible for the strategic plan and goals for the ArtsQuest endowment fund and assisting in the long-term sustainability of the nonprofit community arts organization.

The ArtsQuest Foundation is pleased to announce that Jason Cort, CPWA, President and Founding Partner at Quadrant Private Wealth, has been elected Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Cort, a resident of Center Valley, has served on the Foundation Board since 2019, most recently as Secretary.

Additional elected and reelected ArtsQuest Foundation Board Officers include:

  • Vice Chair: Robert Oster, Retired CEO for Concannon Miller Certified Public Accountants
  • Secretary: John Gagge, Vice President Battery Operations, Americas for EnerSys
  • Treasurer: Joe Pietrantonio, Retired Vice President of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality for Air Products

In addition, Sonya Marie, Vice Chairwoman of the Robert Randolph Foundation and Director, Strategic Partnerships at W.W. Grainger, Inc. has been elected to serve on the ArtsQuest Foundation Board of Trustees.

 

ArtsQuest Performing Arts and Visual Arts Boards

ArtsQuest’s Performing Arts Board is responsible for assisting in the development and evaluation of diverse performing arts programs including music, dance, film, theatre, comedy and multi-disciplinary programs. The Visual Arts Board is responsible for assisting the development and evaluation of diverse visual arts programs in both tangible and non-tangible mediums including but not limited to glass, ceramics and photography. This Board also oversees public art on all the nonprofit’s properties and outreach of public art programs, visual arts education and exhibits in any gallery or exhibit space operated by ArtsQuest.

ArtsQuest is pleased to announce Richard Liu, Associate Director, Global Marketing for Merck & Co., has been reelected Chair of the Performing Arts Board, with Deborah Sacarakis, Retired Artistic Director of Zoellner Arts Center, reelected as the board’s Vice Chair. Both Liu and Sacarakis are serving their second one-year term.

In addition, Janear Hankerson, Senior Accountant at Valley Youth House, Jenny Founds, Director and Educator at School of Rock and international touring musician and Hilary Brown, Director of E-Commerce, Direct-to-Consumer and Channel Programs at C.F. Martin & Co. have been elected to serve on the ArtsQuest Performing Arts Board.

Dr. Lee Riley, Medical Director of Cancer at St. Luke’s Hospital and Owner, Cancer Immunotherapies, LLC has been elected Chair of the ArtsQuest Visual Arts Board and Melissa Siegfried, Physician Liaison at St. Luke’s University Health Network, has been elected the Board’s Vice Chair. Both Riley and Siegfried are serving their first one-year term.

Friends of the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks Board of Directors

The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks Board is responsible for the overall governance and programing direction of the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks.

The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks is pleased to announce Erin Zebertavage, Downtown Manager of the Bethlehem SouthSide Arts District has been elected as Chair of its Board. Zebertavage is serving her first one-year term.

Additional elected Board Officers include:

  • Vice Chair: Kevin Janus, Regional Vice President, Ameritus
  • Treasurer: Daniel Miller, Retired Unit Manager for Mack Trucks Inc
  • Secretary: Philip Gauffreau, Principal & Discipline Leader, Geotechnical Engineering Services, Colliers Engineering & Design

In addition, Dawn Cressman, Special Education Teacher at Salisbury High School; Keith Micucci, CRNP, Vice President Operations, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg; Daniel Torres, M.D., Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon at Lehigh Valley Health Network; and Cuong Tran, DDS at Tran Dental, LLC have all been elected to serve on the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks Board of Directors.
