BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania _ Managed cybersecurity and IT services provider, MCIT, has moved to new headquarters at 60 W Broad Street in Downtown Bethlehem with plans to expand.

MCIT’s 10-plus team members will be based out of the new headquarters on W Broad Street. “We expect to hire another five employees within the next six months,” CEO Chris Morganelli said.

“With current and future growth in mind, our leadership team believed this was yet another opportunity to invest in MCIT,” Morganelli said. “With our clients scattered throughout the entire Lehigh Valley, Bethlehem continues to be a centralized location. The opportunity to be in Downtown Bethlehem was a bonus.”

However, Morganelli said, “this move and expansion is more than just a need for space. It is a statement to our team and our clients that we are invested in you, and the quality of your experience with MCIT.”

MCIT provides managed cybersecurity protection and monitoring as well as managed IT services including, but not limited to, remote help desk support, onsite support, cloud infrastructure, vendor management, and virtual CTO level consulting services. It serves businesses of all sizes.

MCIT’s new headquarters had formerly been home to one of its clients, Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC. The law firm has since consolidated its offices to its new Easton location. “MCIT happens to be the managed cybersecurity and IT services provider for this law firm and was a part of the office consolidation,” Morganelli said.

MCIT began operating in 2015 with two team members and a virtual office providing mostly technical support, both remote and onsite, within the Lehigh Valley. It merged with TechCure, an up-and-coming managed cybersecurity firm, in December 2021. Since then, it has grown into a fully managed cybersecurity and IT services provider with more than 50 companies under management across 10 states. A few notable clients include Kelly Automotive Group, Boyle, Discover Lehigh Valley, Peron Development, Connell Funeral, and Mearhoff Insurance.

Tyler Berger is Chief Technology Officer and Alai Caetano is Chief Financial Officer.

The move will be completed by the end of July.

MCIT’s original office on Center Street will be converted into its inventory and distribution hub.
