An Introduction to Production Arts: “Camp Thingamabob”

Session Dates: July 17-21

Session Time:  9:00 AM-12:00 PM daily.

This workshop is part of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts’ Summer Academy, a program of arts enrichment workshops that is open to the community.  Enjoy working with other young artists from the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

Come explore the designer within you as we go under the sea! In this workshop, participants will have fun creating gadgets, gizmos, costumes and props, taught by Amy Handkammer, Production Arts sewing teacher and costumer.  Students will acquire skills in drawing, basic sewing, and more! There will be some independent homework assigned daily, so come ready to work and get creative! At the end of this week-long class, students will display their whozits, whatzits and thingamabobs for family and friends.  Open to children entering 7th-9th grades (6th grade may be considered).

Workshop Fee:  $225 for the week. (Early registration discount available)> Early drop-off available at 8 AM.
