ASD Board Hosts A Community Conversation



 

Allentown, PA (April 1, 2016)   The Allentown School Board of Directors is hosting A Community Conversation on Tuesday, April 19, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Building 21 Allentown High School.

The community is invited to join the Board of Directors and offer input on the District’s strategic planning on equity. The event will offer opportunity for open discussion in a small group format. The moderators who will guide the discussions are: Dr. Yamil Sanchez Rivera, Executive Director of Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley; Dr. George White, Director of the Center for Developing Urban Education at Lehigh University; and Lucretia Brown, Allentown School District’s Equity Coordinator.

This is an opportunity for the residents of Allentown to contribute to the future of the Allentown School District.

Spanish translators will be provided and refreshments will be served. The event is free. 

Building 21 Allentown High School is located at 265 Lehigh Street, Allentown.
