Red Door Early Learning Center To Expand With Relocation To Center Valley

Now Accepting Enrollment For Children Ages 3 to 6

Center Valley, PA — The Red Door Early Learning Center, Inc. A fixture in the Hellertown region for more than half a century, is moving this spring to larger quarters in Center Valley. This will enable the school to increase its enrollment and offer an intentionally-designed curriculum supported by the space.

“We have an opportunity for growth and we have always wanted to do more, said Executive Director Karol DiPasquale. “Our program has always been built around our space. We want our program intentionally designed so that the space fits the program.”

Founded in 1964 at the Lower Saucon United Church of Christ, the Red Door Early Learning Center will move in June to its new quarters at 4777 Saucon Creek Rd. While the school is now accepting enrollment applications for the expanded space, there is already great demand for the available spots for children ages 3 to 6, school leaders say.

“Over the past 15 years or so our enrollment has gone from just our local Hellertown-Saucon Valley area to as far as 60 and 70 miles away because of parents who recognize the strength and value of our program,” DiPasquale said. “By virtue of our re-location to Center Valley, so easily accessible from I-78, Rt. 378 and Rt. 309, more children than ever will benefit from the Red Door experience.”

Red Door Early Learning Center, Inc. provides programs comparable to the Swain School in Allentown, Moravian Academy in Bethlehem and the Goddard and Montessori schools offers age-appropriate educational programs created and maintained by certified and experienced educators.

“We recognize that part of our mission is to prepare our students for kindergarten,” DiPasquale said. “We know where they need to be. We know where they are, and we know how to fill that gap.”

The Red Door Early Learning Center has built its success on several factors, including:

— An experienced, certified and professional teaching staff;

— An intentionally designed curriculum;

— Developmentally appropriate lessons designed to help children achieve consistent advancement;

— And an emphasis on resiliency and problem-solving that allows youngsters to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

The curriculum focuses on the child’s intellectual, emotional-social and physical development.
