SWBR Announces Agency Rebranding, Name Change

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (May 4, 2017) — SWBR, a full-service advertising agency with nearly 50 years of creative and strategic excellence, unveiled a modern, refreshed brand presence this week.

The new brand system includes a revamped name, logomark, color palette and website (www.swbrinc.com). Previously known as Stiegler, Wells, Brunswick & Roth — or swb&r — the agency is shedding the ampersand and its all-lowercase logomark, and now will simply be known as SWBR.

The rebranding reflects SWBR’s continuous adaptability from its founding on May 1, 1969 to today, where its team markets everything from intricate life-saving medical devices to rugged construction tools. In particular, SWBR has cultivated a deep understanding of the medical, financial, construction, industrial and education industries.

“We designed a unique brand system that celebrates the ideals and history of SWBR,” said Ernie R. Stiegler, CEO. “Through utilizing a timeless visual approach, the rebranding will be sustainable as we progress to face the challenges awaiting us tomorrow.”
The new SWBR logo evokes the concept of adaptability. The three triangles and multiple configurations of the logomark represent three core truths about SWBR:

  1. The agency’s three key areas of service: advertising, marketing and public relations
  2. A three principle process (creative, strategic and analytic) that SWBR deploys for every campaign, every project
  3. Three generations of the Stiegler family and their stamp on SWBR’s identity

“In our nearly 50 years in business, a few constants define our agency: ultra-talented associates, a rich roster of clients we love working with, a commitment to stay current or ahead of the technology curve in our industry and at least one Stiegler on the leadership team,” said Scott Friedman, President of SWBR. “Our expectation is this brand refresh will serve as an ongoing reminder to our staff, and reassurance to our clients and partners that SWBR will remain diligently focused on delivering value and differentiation.”
