Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County has been serving homebound seniors and adults with disabilities since February 1, 1971. Each weekday, 66 volunteers deliver meals to 450 people and provide a well-being check and a social connection. In addition, volunteers deliver groceries to more than 100 people on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. The Agency also provides emergency meals, pet food for clients’ pets and connects clients to other services to help them remain independent in their own homes.
