Will you speak up for a child who needs you? Lehigh County Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers gather information about the circumstances of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect. Deliver meals to home-bound seniors and adults with disabilities for Meals On Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley. Eight convenient pickup locations and pre-delivery training; routes start at 10 a.m. each weekday. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood. Miller-Keystone Blood Center canteen attendants offer a drink and a snack to blood donors after the donation process is complete while ensuring the donor is feeling well for at least 15 minutes. Shifts available are noon-3:30 p.m./3:30 – 7 p.m. Mon & Wed, and 7:30-11 a.m./11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tues & Thur at Hamilton Donor Center, Allentown.
