ALLENTOWN, PA (12/19/22) – Valley Youth House is pleased to announce that Project Silk Lehigh Valley is moving to 1101 Hamilton Street, Suite 102, Allentown, PA 18101 in the Hamilton Business Center.

Project Silk Lehigh Valley is an LGBTQ+ inclusive drop-in program that is youth-led, adult-supported, and offers a wide variety of free services. Project Silk Lehigh Valley offers a safe and affirming space for young people ages 14 to 29 who are members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Project Silk Lehigh Valley provides access to HIV and STI testing, active recreation, peer support, counseling, education on health and social topics, food and emergency supplies.

Project Silk Lehigh Valley will move from its current location in the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center at the end of the calendar year and will be open for services on January 17, 2023. Weekly drop-in hours are Monday through Thursday from 1-7PM. Mondays are especially designed for 18+ and Fridays are reserved for appointments and special events. Testing and counseling appointments can also be made for other times.
